Wellington, April 8 - Green Party MP Sue Kedgley says she is ``delighted'' that Australian state health ministers rolled New Zealand in a trans-Tasman debate over country-of-origin labels for food.

``New Zealand officials and Health Minister Annette King have vehemently opposed mandatory labelling, and called for Australia to abandon its mandatory labelling,'' Ms Kedgley said. ``But it is a basic consumer right to know what is in the food we eat and where it comes from''.
