Taipei, April 4, 2003 (CENS)--Quanta Storage Inc. said yesterday that it may rank as the world's No. 1 maker in slim combo CD-R drives due to increasing deliveries this year

Toshiba and Matsushita are now two leading slim combo makers in the world but their willingness to expand the output of such products this year is quite low. Instead, Quanta Storage and LG of South Korea are planning to further expand their slim combo products beginning in 2003, paving the way for them to win the title as No.1 and No. 2 makers in the line, industry sources said
