The World Trade Center bombing, the Oklahoma City bombing, and the 9-11 attacks are all connected to an extensive terrorist network in the United States. Both the Clinton and Bush administrations have covered this up and hindered investigations of this connection.

The war on terror recently netted Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and Professor Sami Al-Arian. This is very big news. U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft identified Mohammed as the "mastermind" of the 9-11 terrorist attacks and Al-Arian as the U.S. head of the terrorist Palestinian Islamic Jihad. However, U.S. officials and most of the major media appear to be pointedly ignoring the most important news concerning these terrorist operatives. Mohammed and Al-Arian are key leaders in a network of terrorist cells connecting three of the largest, deadliest terrorist attacks against America: the 1993 bombing of the World Trade center in New York city; the 1995 Oklahoma city bombing; and the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade center and the Pentagon. Over the past eight years, THE NEW AMERICAN'S in-depth investigation of the Oklahoma city bombing has exposed an extensive fifth column of terrorists inside the U.S. connecting these three -- and, other -- terrorist events. Many of these individuals are still in our country. Then-A ttorney General Janet Reno and the Clinton administration ignored and covered up this evidence. Attorney General John Ashcroft and the Bush administration have followed suit.

After carrying out the first WTC attack, Yousef, an Iraqi agent working with Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations, turned up in the Philippines, where he set in motion a number of grandiose terror plans. Those plans included Operation Bojinka, a scheme to kill thousands of people and garner world media attention by detonating bombs on 11 jumbo passenger liners in a single day. One of Yousef's co-conspirators in those plans was Edwin Angeles, aka Ibrahim Yakub, a top leader of Abu Sayyaf, a Filipino terrorist organization (center) supported by Libya and Iraq. According to a statement handwritten and signed by Angeles after his capture, he had met on ...
