PETALING JAYA, Thurs. - The Malaysian Medical Relief Society (Mercy Malaysia) has sent a 12-member team to Kedah to aid flood victims.
Its president Datuk Dr Jemilah Mahmood said the team has set up office at the Kuala Muda district office and will be working in Pantai Merdeka, Padang Buluh, Tikam Batu and Padang Serai.
"We have set up mobile clinics to reduce the burden faced by hospitals and clinics in those areas," she told a Press conference after receiving donations for its Humanitarian Aid Fund.
