PAKISTAN PUSHES FOR EARLY COMPLETION OF PESTICIDE POLICY.
ISLAMABAD, April 1 Asia Pulse - The Minister for Industries and Production, Liaquat Ali Jatoi has asked the Expert Advisory Cell (EAC) to expedite work on pesticide industrial policy, which shall encourage the investors for setting up of local manufacturing facilities.
He said this while presiding over the 28th Board of Governors meeting of Experts Advisory Cell (EAC) held here on Friday in the Ministry.
The Minister said that the pesticide policy will ensure the availability of good quality pesticides that will eliminate spurious products. Setting up of local industry would benefit the farmer community as the pesticide would available at low cost, he added.
