TOKYO, April 1 Asia Pulse - The foreign language school ECC will begin a new course in Osaka this month on how to perform rakugo, or traditional Japanese comedy routines, in English.

Kaishi Katsura, a rakugo performer who pioneered the English-language version of the art performance, will teach the class.

The objective of the course is for students to have fun while learning English-language pronunciation, gestures and timing of speech.
