INDIA CONFIDENT OF ACHIEVING US$50 BLN EXPORTS THIS YEAR.
NEW DELHI, April 1 Asia Pulse - India exuded confidence that its merchandise exports would cross US$50 billion in this financial year, notwithstanding the fluid situation in West Asia amidst fears of prolonged war on Iraq.
"It is almost certain that India's merchandise exports will cross the US$50 billion milestone this year," Federal Commerce Minister Arun Jaitley said here Monday, unveiling the new Exim Policy for 2003-04.
