GERMAN cruiseship specialist Meyer Werft, is to lay off 800 of its 2,600 workforce.
The Papenburg-based yard called this 'an adjustment of capacities' due to the difficult world economy.
Even if the new orders for large cruiseships under negotiation could be concluded by summer, they would fully use current capacities, the yard told workers.
