Di Silvio in charge
ALLIANZ Marine & Aviation (AMA) has announced that with effect from today, Jacques Mercier will hand over local responsibility of AMA (Aviation) London to Emilio Di Silvio. The change reflects the successful integration of the former Westminster team into the AMA UK branch. Mr Mercier will now focus on the Paris office, as well as retaining strategic responsibility for the airlines and products line of business.
Mr Di Silvio will manage the day-to-day operation of all AMA's aviation business conducted in London, including airlines and products.
Telegraph sales
UK NEWSPAPER Group The Telegraph has signed a five-year deal with Cornhill Direct, the UK subsidiary of Allianz. The Telegraph already sells some financial services to its 2m readers but the deal extends its product range to include motor and home insurance. The general insurance products will be underwritten and managed by Cornhill. Some 9,000 people have purchased products through the newspaper in the last two years.
