Budapest, March 27, 2003 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Slovak investment firm J+T said on Wednesday that it was behind the sale of 200,000 shares in Slovak oil company Slovnaft last Thursday. J+T also announced that it is the owner of one of the brokerage firms which requested on Tuesday that the Bratislava bourse suspend the transfer of OTC shares in Slovnaft purchased by Hungarian oil company Mol.

J+T announced that it holds a 15pc stake in Slovnaft, or nearly half of the free float. EBRD holds an 8pc stake.
