Buffets, Inc. Extends the Closing Date of its Original Roadhouse Grill Sale.

EAGAN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2003
Buffets, Inc. announced that the sale of its 13 Original Roadhouse Grill restaurants will be deferred until certain transaction contingencies are satisfied on or before June 25, 2003. The prospective purchaser has requested this additional time in order to obtain necessary landlord consents, liquor license transfers, and to satisfy other preconditions to closing. The parties are currently negotiating the terms of this extension and expect to reach agreement by Friday, April 4, 2003.
