John F. Kennedy High School Students Participate in New Pilot
Program Designed by Oce to Support Mayor Richard M. Daley's CPS
Improvement Initiative
Oce (Nasdaq: OCENY), a global digital document management company whose $1.3 billion North American operation is based in Chicago, is leading a unique mentoring initiative with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS).
The program is designed to help high school students experience what getting a job and going to work are about so they can develop their job-seeking skills and better understand the value of staying in school. With an emphasis on Oce employees mentoring students, the new initiative involves students enrolled at John F. Kennedy High School (6325 W. 56th Street) who are participating in a training program that takes place over a four-month period.
