Tehran, 17 March: The Second of Khordad Front of Majlis on Sunday [16 March] urged the arbitrary Expediency Council (EC) to withdraw its recent verification to approve a 60-billion-rial budget hike of the supervising Guardians Council (GC).

Ali Shakuri-Rad, a member of the front, said on Monday that some 140 deputies had attended the front's meeting yesterday to debate the EC's measure, adding that the deputies had unanimously agreed that the Council should withdraw the verification and consider the issue as "null and void".
