Health experts made 40 recommendations to prevent cryptosporidiosis following an outbreak at Perth Leisure Pool which affected 74 people.

Improvements to poolside cleaning and water treatment processes were among the steps taken following the outbreak last year.

A report to NHS Tayside yesterday updated board members on the findings of the public health investigation, led by Dr Julie Cavanagh, consultant in public health medicine.
