SILIGURI: Tussle within the Kamtapur Peoples Party has led to the ouster of founder-president Atul Roy from the helm of its affairs.

Observers see a gameplan engineered by the CPM at work to bring about a vertical split within the KPP. KPP had eaten into CPM's trusted Rajbongshi votebank in north Bengal.
