Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra expressed his satisfaction with Thailand's economic performance during his administration's past two years in office. In the radio program "Prime Minister Thaksin Talks to the People," broadcast on Radio Thailand on 1 March 2003, the Prime Minister said that the Thai economy has improved significantly and gained international recognition.
