LINE STRENGTH: The signing of LG Edwin Mulitalo, an effective run blocker, to a seven-year, $15.5 million deal cements the left side of the line for several years. Mulitalo will continue to team with Pro Bowl LT Jonathan Ogden. The signing also means the line will be kept almost intact for a third straight year, with C Mike Flynn and RG Bennie Anderson returning. The team will seek a right tackle in the free-agent market or the draft. The team wants to re-sign last year's starter, Ethan Brooks, but only as a backup. The club also wants Anderson to report at a lower weight than the 330 he carried in 2002.
