A court handed down a nine-year prison sentence to a Jamaican-born Muslim cleric whose fiery sermons called for the death of all those who do not believe in Islam.
Abdullah el-Faisal, 39, was convicted last month for stirring up racial hatred and soliciting murder, in the first prosecution of a Muslim cleric in Britain.
El-Faisal, a father of three from east London who converted to Islam when he was 16, denied inciting the murder of non-believers, Jews, Americans and Hindus.
