Some segment of the population always seems to be denied the fruit of America in its most succulent form.
Such has been the experience of black female community college curriculum faculty, who comprised the purposive sample in my recent qualitative research study conducted as part of the requirements for a 2002 doctoral degree at North Carolina State University.
