KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - The National Union of the Teaching Profession has called on the Government to ensure a better racial mix in public universities in line with its policy of greater integration among the people.
Its secretary-general Datuk N. Siva Subramaniam also urged the Government to ensure that the intake was fairly distributed and students from marginalised communities were not left out.
In the selection of students for places, the Government should strive to please as many people as possible.
