SEOUL, March 2 Asia Pulse - Domestic shipping firms have decided to levy an extra US$25 on U.S.-bound freight as a new "manifest charge" when they issue bills of lading (B/L), a business source said today.
The decision was made because shipping firms have to provide the U.S. Customs Service with information on cargo 24 hours before shipment, the source said.
