SYDNEY, March 3 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar has rallied from Friday's close but has been content to hold a narrow range in early domestic trade.
At 1200 AEDT, the Australian dollar was at $US0.6074/79 compared with $US0.6050/55 at Friday's close.
Dealers said the Australian dollar gained another boost from the weaker United States currency amid fears of war but was not able to extend those gains in the local market.
One dealer said the Australian dollar would probably hold near current levels and would wait to see how offshore markets set the tone for the rest of this week.
