ISLAMABAD, March 3 Asia Pulse - The steering committee of the trans-Afghan gas pipeline has decided that the project would be constructed and operated by a consortium and not a single company to avoid risk and strengthen business environment.
The feasibility report of the project prepared by the Asian Development Bank said that the consortium would consist of international oil companies and relevant national companies and that the consortium will only transport the gas and not own it.
