MUMBAI, March 3 Asia Pulse - The sensex gave up part of previous week's gains and ended 0.71 per cent lower at the weekend on the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) as investors turned cautious over the fluid situation in the Gulf region as a result of continued war rhetoric by the US.

Even the general budget presented Friday failed to cheer investors who termed it as marginally disappointing but growth-oriented.
