ANDREW Bree is planning a rapid return to action in just ten days time.
Just over six weeks ago Bree broke his ankle after slipping on ice and is still on crutches, but coach John Trembley is aiming to have his talented protege racing in Texas.
Bree, ranked 10 in the world by governing body FINA, is still aiming to race in the prestigious American College championships at the end of March, the NCAAs.
The Helen's Bay man has been engaged in a heavy rehabilitation routine since sustaining the damage to his ankle, which required surgery and a plate inserted.
"I've been having rehab and treatment every day for three hours," explained Bree, who remains focused long term on this summer's World Championships in Barcelona.
