(From Belfast Telegraph)
Byline: Marie Foy
A COUNTY Antrim couple whose little boy tragically died of a brain tumour today expressed heartfelt thanks to their family, friends and health workers for help and support.
Little Blair Rainey, who was three-and-a-half, was diagnosed last August.
After a biopsy and MRI scan at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast it was decided Blair should undergo radiotheraphy.
However, his mum Kay explained, Blair was too young to lie still for the treatment without an anaesthetic and had to travel to Glasgow where a paediatric anaesthetist was available.
Unfortunately Blair, from The Grange, Toomebridge, later died in hospital.
