IF you have ever wondered how the famous Rope Bridge at Carrick-a-Rede is put up each year, the National Trust is offering an opportunity for visitors to witness the whole "terrifying" process free-of-charge on Sunday and Monday, March 9 and 10.
The bridge is due to be taken out of its winter storage next weekend and transported to the North Coast, where it will be suspended across the 24m deep and 18m wide chasm separating the North Coast mainland from Carrick-a-Rede island.
The whole process takes almost two days and involves 15 people.
