(From Belfast Telegraph)
RELATIVES of a teenage girl subjected to a frightening sexual assault in a Co Antrim town have taken to the streets to erect posters urging witnesses to come forward.
Politicians in Randalstown, shocked and sickened by the incident, have urged young girls and women to be extra vigilant while the fiend is at large.
The attack, described as "disturbing" by police, took place in broad daylight in a field on the outskirts of the town last Sunday.
The 15-year-old was out walking the family dog when she was roughly grabbed by a man who swung her around and threw her to the ground.
The man thrust his hand over the terrified teenager's mouth to stifle her cries and ordered her to shut her eyes.
It is understood he had a sharp object in his hand which he used to cut at the girl's clothes.
