Byline: Michael Drake

AFTER 25 years in business Belfast based Andersons Auctions has stopped holding its weekly sales.

"We are not going out of business," proprietor Michael Flanagan tells me. "The company is still remaining and we will be holding specialist auctions from time to time.

"The truth of the matter is it is getting difficult all the time to get the quality lots we require on a weekly basis.

"But we will still be around and the plan at present is to hold several specialists sales throughout the year.

"We will concentrate on art, antiques, fine quality items and house contents."
