Xavier: Playing the point. David West and Romain Sato are enough to make most teams drool, but how senior point guard Lionel Chalmers leads the team will play a big part. In Xavier's postseason run. Chalmers missed seven games with a broken foot and just recently returned to the starting lineup.

N.C. State: Finishing strong. The Wolfpack doesn't have a quality nonconference win, and a recent loss to Temple after which Herb Sendek questioned his teams toughness will be noted by the NCAA selection committee. However, the team can send a strong message in its final home games: Maryland and Wake Forest.

Purdue: Winning on the road, Road wins have been tough to come by this year for virtually every team in the nation, but the Boilermakers close the season at Michigan State and Michigan. To win the Big Ten, Gene Keady's crew likely needs a sweep on this trip--and Purdue is only 3-7 away from Mackey Arena.
