The turns have 12-degree banking, slightly flatter than, say, Charlotte and Kansas, which the track resembles in shape. Though they are banked the same, Turns 2 and 4 have subtle differences, and drivers must be wary of that. With the trioval and the long turns, drivers almost constantly are cranking the steering wheel to the left, except for the 1,572-foot back stretch. It requires a smooth line and a lot of patience.
