The share of wireless (GSM, CDMA, cellular and WLL) is expected to increase to about 75 percent of total connections in 2003. With the total telephony market scheduled to increase by over 63 million to about 65 million connections by the end of 2003, wireless growth is estimated to grow by 10-12 million. CDMA is expected to account for between 30 and 60 percent of the new connections, translating into a subscriber base of between three million and seven million.
