Statesman News Service KOLKATA, Jan. 12._The Cable TV networks across Kolkata are gearing up to provide 24-hour Internet access to subscribers at an average cost of Rs 500 per month slashing the cost of accessing the Internet by over 50 per cent, according to Mr Arunava Kar Chowdhury, chief operating officer (COO), Globtek Infosys. Besides cost, the connectivity speed is claimed to be at least four times faster than BSNL's dial-up access.
