FACED with the reality that seven out of 10 dadah addicts are Malays, UMNO Youth will now work with the National Dadah Agency (NDA) to tackle the problem.

For starters, the movement will mobilise all its division and branches in the country to organise awareness campaigns on the dangers of dadah addiction.

Their targets will be places of worship, schools and housing estates.

"Statistics from the NDA show that 69 per cent of dadah addicts are Malays.

This figure is alarming," said Datuk Subahan Kamal, the movement's public complaints unit head.
