The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is all set to take over security of Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) from the local Delhi Police soon.

Although the Delhi Police are not happy with the decision, arrived at a recent joint meeting the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) had with senior officers of the CISF, they find themselves with no option but to withdraw their personnel from both international and domestic airports since their job will now get confined to regulating traffic outside the arrival and departure terminals.
