Bogor, Jan 19 (ANTARA) - Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Prof Dr Amien Rais said that he could only provide cliche answer with regard to the Higher Ccourt's decision on maintaining a three year jail sentence to former State Secretary Akbar Tanjung who is current the House Speaker.

"I could only say that it depends much on the conscience of Akbar Tanjung and legislators. The image of the House in the eyes of the people has been declining," he said here on Sunday.
