The pending Arkia Airlines-Israir cooperation agreement is intended to replace an earlier Arkia-El Al agreement that ran "The Israeli Charter" on European routes. "Globes" revealed the negotiations yesterday.

Arkia president and CEO Prof. Israel (Izzy) Borovich told "Globes" today that recent talks with El Al to cooperate on charter flights failed to bear fruit. He said the negotiations with Israir were continuing and are expected to yield an agreement within 1-2 months.
