New Delhi, 25 January: India's External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha on Saturday [25 January] called on Islamic Republic of Iran's President Seyyed Mohammad Khatami in New Delhi.
According to IRNA reporter, the Islamic Republic of Iran's president in this meeting, while referring to historical background of India and Iran relations, the place of the two countries in international system and their common determination for development said: "Cooperation between New Delhi and Teheran will result in the progress of the two countries and region as well as to world peace and tranquillity."
