Thai Farmers Bank (TFB) has decided not to accept payments on installment purchase plans or credit cards issued by Aeon Thanasinsap, Krungthep Turakij reported.

An executive from TFB said that as of 1 February TFB would discontinue its service of allowing customers of Aeon Thanasinsap to pay their bills for goods purchased on installment or through Aeon credit cards. The reason is that Aeon Thanasinsap changed its policy and will now charge 15 baht per transaction for such payments. TFB did not want to transfer this expense to its customers, so the bank decided to stop providing the service altogether.
