Mecca, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- The Muassasah system implemented by Tabung Haji to place Malaysian pilgrims during the current pilgrimage in Mecca has received encouraging feedback, compared to in the past.

Malaysia's Chief of Haj delegation Datuk Dr Haji Azmi Haji Ahmad said that under the Southeast Asia Muassasah, Tabung Haji had rented 19 buildings for the Malaysian pilgrims to stay.

The facilities at these "hostels" were also better than in the past, equivalent to those of a four-star hotels with food even delivered right to the pilgrims' rooms, he told Bernama here …
