THE Bangkok International Film Festival (BKKIFF) may not have a long history of excellence like the Oscars or the Cannes Film Festival, but it hopes to at least make its mark as a defining film event in the Asian region with the Golden Kinnaree Award.
Set to be held annually, the festival, which took place between Jan 10 and 21, featured over 150 films from all over the world. It culminated in the Golden Kinnaree Award ceremony.
