Police and the army in Lira are hunting a UPDF soldier who shot dead five people and raped a woman.

The murder occurred Jan. 24 at Aboko Nyek village in Lira.

The Police Public Relations Officer Assuman Mugenyi identified the dead as Eradiyo Ogwal, Jamulasi Otingi, Jackson Ongora, Patrick Okwil and Peterasi Agweyo all residents of Aboko Nyek village.
