JOHOR BARU, Fri. - State Religious Department (JAJ) director Datuk Wahid Dahlan will be appointed the Datuk Bandar Johor Baru with effect from Feb 22, taking over from Datuk Johari Suratman who is retiring.
Menteri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman, who announced this today, said Wahid was appointed to the position owing to his vast experience as a senior public administrator which would enable him to easily adjust to the new role.
