Afghan paper lashes out at chief justice for targeting cable TV not crime.

An Afghan newspaper has lashed out at the chief justice, Fazl Hadi Shinwari, over a recent decree banning cable TV viewing and said that he should instead focus his energies on fighting real crime, some of which was being carried out by government officials. The following is an excerpt from a report entitled "Cable and Chief Justice" by Afghan newspaper Mashal-e Demokrasi on 6 February.
