When Rawlings jeeringly described President Kufuor as a "one-term president" during the NDC delegates congress last December it was widely dismissed as one of those annoying barbs he likes to fire against his "enemies", along the lines of how he once said Ghana's military was giving President Kufuor only "fanfool respect" - things said to needle people so that he would get the headlines.
