"U.S. soldiers stationed [in Bosnia-Herzegovina] are quick to point out that the large pine tree decorated with lights and holiday ornaments near the center of the base is not a Christmas tree," reported a December 29th Washington Times dispatch from NATO's Eagle Base in the city of Tuzla. "It's a liberty tree," explained Major Shawn R. Bell. "We don't have a Christmas tree here, because we're honoring all of [the local] faiths. You've got so many different holidays happening around this time--from Christmas to Ramadan to the Russian Orthodox New Year to our New Year--so we're honoring that."
Of course, the real sticking point is that hard-line Muslims represent the most powerful faction within the UN-created artificial "nation" of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Since 1990, U.S. troops stationed in Saudi Arabia ...
