: In a major reshuffle in the top echelons of the Indian Air Force, Air Marshal M McMahon was appointed the new vice-chief of air staff on Friday.

Air Marshal McMahon, who was commissioned in 1963 as a fighter pilot and was posted as the South-Western Air Command (SWAC) chief, will replace Air Marshal S G Inamdar, who retired on Friday.
