PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the Nigerian Conscience Party (NCP), Chief Gani Fawehinmi has told second republic Vice-President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme to resist pressure to withdraw the suit seeking to void President Olusegun Obasanjo's election as the presidential flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Besides, Chief Fawehinmi berated the PDP National Chairman, Chief Audu Ogbeh for describing Ekwueme's suit as an invitation to coup, saying his (Ogbeh's) comment was "a disservice to constitutional democracy and an affront to the judicial process."
