Unit Trust of India (UTI) incurred sales and redemption losses of Rs419.01 crore in 43 of its 66 schemes during Jul-Dec 2002. It posted profits from 18 schemes.

Unit Scheme-64 (US-64) incurred a loss of Rs192.74 crore.

Losses in the 12 monthly income plans (MIPs) stood at Rs90.76 crore against income of Rs452.87 crore. UTI-I posted an income of Rs365.58 crore, and UTI-II, Rs414.54 crore.
