TOKYO, Feb 4 Asia Pulse - With a new law that makes it possible to start a business with capital of just 1 yen taking effect this month, 24 applications seeking to take advantage of the law were filed Monday, with one entrepreneur planning to start literally with 1 yen.
Under the new law, stock companies and limited liability firms are exempt from having a minimum capital of 10 million yen (US$83,000) and 3 million yen, respectively, during their first five years in business.
